Our History

Aero Industries, Inc., is one of the nation's leading providers of innovative accessories for the transportation industry. Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, we serve our customers through satellite locations in Nebraska, Ohio and a nationwide network of dealers. Our products include a wide range of innovative tarping systems, Side Kits, and accessories for dump and flatbed trailers.

Aero was founded in Indianapolis in 1944 by Paul Tuerk as Aero Canvas Products. Initially a manufacturer of tarps, the company soon expanded its product line and achieved a reputation as a leader in development of accessories for the transportation industry. The company has created a wide range of products, including tarping systems for open-top trailers and dumps, storage boxes and many others.

Today, Aero is enjoying its third generation of Tuerk family leadership under company Chief Executive Officer Jim Tuerk, with a history of steady sales growth. We recently opened our new headquarters and manufacturing facility in Indianapolis and continue operations in Omaha, Nebraska and Streetsboro, Ohio.
